I need some help. I know that on a true AW the front round has to have casting # B2690R and the rear axle has a casting # A271R. Now what I don't know and need help with is on A GW. I think the G has the same front round, but what about the rear axle? What is the casting # and are the axels longer like on the AW. Thanks a lot for any help----

Well, From what I see. The only wheels avalible on a GW is JD1274R 6x16" pressed steel rim. The other is JD1223R Round spoke steel front wheels. But it is also posted that these may not have ever been used on a GW. What year are you working on? From what I can tell, there was never round spoked rubber GW's made. Is it cut off steel? Post back and let us know.

I'm thinking of a 1949 G John and what I was looking for was what would the casting Number be on the rear axle for a GW.
