I have 2 problems (1) 4020 works fine for first hour but after that the steering goes haywire. It does its own thing; the front has been rebuilt and the control unit has been dismantled and did not see any problems. Where do I go from here. (2) 4020 powershift bought it in crates, rebuilt the transmission used the tractor for 2 years then it stopped in the field we have gauges at every port but the clutch valve was not showing adequate pressure. we tore it down and it showed a slight amount of wear in the vein pump put a new one in still only have 90 lbs at the clutch check port. Have checked the tow lever and it still works properly. Have checked all the clutch packs with air and have not heard anything that resembles a leak, however the tractor doesn't make enough pressure at any ports. Help I can use the tractor but nobody can use it like it is. Thanks in advance for any help George

George , sounds like a high pressure leak in the steering valve. After start up (cold) does the steering valve heat up pretty quick? Next time you disasemble the steering valve check the piston and make sure it is tight on the shaft.Check the sandwich plate and see if the little adapter fitting is loose .( Replace the sandwich if you haven't done so ), this will cause the steering to lock up, as to the transmission , check the clutch valve and make sure it travels all the way up. If not the pressure will be low, could have a corn stock or something holding it down. Just a thought Don
