We rebuilt this tractor every nut and bolt,We ran it about 4 miles pulling a wagon everything was fine, then it sit a week and the carb stuck and ran gas in the crankcase,so we changed the oil and now we have only 2 lbs of oil pressure,we read in the IT book and it said that the filter can could be distorted,it was we fixed that put it back together, still only 2 lbs,the pump is turning,We had the crank cover off with it running and can't see any leaks, tried to adjust pressure but it makes no difference, could the spring be broken? Or is there something else,Please help,Nick

Nick, did you run it long with the gasoline laced oil in it? [if so you might have damaged bearings]
~When you repaired the bent filter can did you replace the filter head to can gasket? [the bent can usually allows the filter head gasket to blow out & fail]
~If you are ok on the above, drain the oil out of the crankcase & rig a fitting to the oil pressure gage fitting then use a garden sprayer hooked to the gage fitting with a mixture of 10 weight oil & diesel fuel [you might need to thin the oil to have the viscosity of hot oil], then while using a light in the crankcase, look to see where the oil is leaking from. Some oil leakage from the bearings & governor is normal, but line fittings & filter head to filter can should be tight.
~If you have large amounts of oil flowing from the oil pump pressure relief valve/spring area you have probably found the problem.
~If you removed the oil pressure adjusting screw, make sure the spring seat didn't fall out & into the bottom of the crankcase.....

Nick, I think I would try a new filter before making any mechanical changes - the pressure drop is probably in the filter, the gasoline causes things to swell up & close.
