Guys, Need a little help here...I usually don't pay any attention to letter series tractors unless they have a square seat and a starter, but I ran accross one that I would buy as a reseller if ya think I could make a little. It's a '45 (according to the SN), styled, has hydraulics, has complete and pretty straight sheet metal, rears are fair/functional, fronts are "baldini" car tires, it has a 2 range 3 speed, cast centers, and runs pretty good. Appears to need a good carb rebuild, cleaning, painting, a new pan seat, and tune up. I can buy it for $700-$800. Question is, if I hauled her home, tuned her, and maybe put on some fronts, could I make a little?
The roll back needs a few $$$$ sunk in it so I can get the 70 and the Red ones to the pulls and shows, so I hate to spend the bucks and sit on it. Now if it had a starter and a square seat, I'd be working on her right now, and planning on keeping her. Thanks, Pete
