JD hand tools -- how rare?

I bought a set of John Deere hand tools recently at a flea market. It looks like any Craftsman tool set from Sears at first glance. It includes US and Metric combination wrenches, socket sets, deep sockets, and impact socket sets. Also a hacksaw, allen wrenches and other miscellaneous pieces and a few duplicate items. All have the JD markings on them.

I've never seen tools with "John Deere" stamped on them. They are marked with Taiwan on the back side.

I'm not sure who makes the JD tools but in my opinion they aren't up to the standards of most JD products. They're no better than any other Taiwanese tools. I worked in the parts dept. of out local dealership for a short time. I've got a few of these tools but I'd rank them below Craftsman in quality. We've got a few JD techs on this forum, Lets hear from them.
