Jd 80 tires, do 23.1x26 belong there?

I posted a note earlier about my JD 80 having 26" rims with 18x26 industrial tires. I am having a hard time finding what I want to go on it. Firestone has 23.1 x 26 tires in tubless and 23degree but they call for a 20" rim. My rim appears to be around 18" wide at the most. Does anyone out there have the optional 26" tires on thier R,80,820,830 and what kind of tires are you running and on what size rim?

Thanks,
Jonathan

You more than likely have 16" wide rims, which were standard for the 18-26 tires. 20" rims were an extra cost option that allowed the tire to spread out a little more. It really doesn't hurt to put 23.1-26's on a 16" rims, I have an R with that combination, and it works fine. I don't suppose you're from Florida are you?
