I am having trouble snugging up my fly wheel to get out the crank shaft end play. Any suggestions? I have it down to about a quarter inch but I would like it tighter. Should the clutch be engaged or dis-engaged? when I do it. Thanks Marty Z

Marty, either engage the clutch & block the cover between the cover & R/H tire, remove the clutch cover & block the center of the crank to the R/H tire or have someone hold the crank to the left with a big hammer or block of wood or pry bar.
~Then push the flywheel all the way on until tight, then remove the blocking, then use a piece of wood or brass & hammer to give the center of the crank a tap or two on the flywheel side until you get .005"-.010" flywheel lateral movement [or until just a very light clunk can be heard while pushing & pulling he flywheel]
