There is a nice 18 one row corn picker on ebay. I have only saw a picture in a brochure one time. Does anyone here have one or ever used one? Most pull-type pickers around here (EC IN) were New Idea or Woods Bros.

Jim I have had a John Deere 18 one row picker since the mid 80s. We used it for picking the seed corn that we raised for the university as well as regular corn for the crib. It is a nice easy pulling picker and at times we used a 51 B a 50 and a 520 on it. I still have it in the shed even tho we no longer raise any corn. I have a barge box on a JD 953 wagon to go with it. The 18 has some in common with the 101 that was semi mounted
only the 18 is pull type. Talking about the old 18 brings back some fond memories. Good luck.
