I know that this is probably a stupid question, however I need to know. When I try to put the new clutch cover on the 3 clutch bolts are hitting the clutch cover and not allowing it to fit properly. My bolts that I have have two drilled holes in them near the end for the cotter pin, so that the locking nut would fit. I don't know if they are the orginal ones or aftermarket. I know the simple sulution would be to grind off the ends so that it would give adequate clearance, however I don't want to screw something up either. Your comments would be appriciated.
Thanks Dan 41 B

Dan, you either have the wrong cover, or the cover is a reproduction that isn't built correctly, or the dogs & clutch adjusting "T" ended bolts are worn enough that the bolts stick out farther.
~I have had to cut a few adjusting bolts off over the years to keep from having the cover pop off from the adjusting bolts hitting it. As long as there is plenty of thread left, cutting shouldn't hurt the adjusting bolts.....
