I have a 31 GP witha a ensign K carb with a made up carb to governor rod, does any one know how long the rod would be roughly(i know you have a screw end) also where the series of split pin holes are ,for the throttle spring? NIGELB

I have several GP's, but they are all small blocks. I really think the throttle link was the same on either, so I measured mine. It is exactly 15 inches long (I did not measure the 90 degree bends, only the straight length), and the hole with the cotter pin, holding the spring in place was exactly in the middle. Hope this helps. If I find the throttle was different on the big bore, I will get back to you by this weekend, as I will be at a show tomorrow, and big bore GP's will be displayed. Good luck!!

There is a difference in the lenth of the rod between the small bores and early big bores. I had a simalar problem with mine. My tractor is not where I can get at it to measure the lenth right now.
