I have a major problem with the carb on my 620. I noticed that some gas was leaking down the bowl. So I removed the bowl and replaced the bowl gasket. Well, when I put the bowl back on, like an idiot, I over tightened the bowl nut and broke off the threaded piece that the nut threads on to. Does anyone know if that piece threads up into the carb itself or is it actually part of the carb? If it will screw out I can maybe replace it. Anyone know where I can get a new piece? If it doesn't screw out I have no idea what to do. Anyone have any suggestions? Please help! Thanks in advance.

The threaded part is part of the carb main body. Several of the carb guys say they can weld new threads on the bottom. I have had several carbs in that have been repaired. They all have had problems with the load jet seat getting turned in the body. I think when they weld the threads back it shrinks the press fit on the seat of the main jet. SEAMO
