I don't know anything about it other than it has a cab, duals(holding air), Rain cap is covering exhaust, and it doesn't have the three point arms on it. Thats all I could see from the road, no one home. I'm not a JD man and not into this new of a tractor but I am always looking for stuff to trade with. Just wondering what it's worth worst case wise. Thanks

I've seen decent 6030s bring anywhere from $12,000 to clear down around $5000. That is a lot of tractor, too much for most people, in fact. That's why you see them so cheap. They could be had either with an intercooled engine or a plain turbocharged engine, and when properly tuned up and maintained, they will pull like a freight train - some are putting out 250 hp or more and seem to hold together. Repairs can get expensive real fast, though. And they will difinitely burn the fuel when being worked hard. They're a real neat tractor as far as I'm concerned, but I don't have a semi to haul one around on, lol.

If it's stuck, which I don't really think it will be, what with the exhaust being covered and all, it would still probably be worth that as there are a lot of expensive rear end and tranny parts in it, not to mention hydraulics, etc. I don't know why, but it seems like diesel tractors don't stick as readily as gas burners - maybe it has something to do with the diesel fuel being a really light oil and keeping the cylinders slightly lubricated, rather than just evaporating like gasoline. We had a 3020 come in that was stuck - but the guy left it in the field with the exhaust open and his center pivot made a couple passes over it and filled the engine completely with water - not a good thing, lol.
