I responded to a posting the other day about Bradshaw and mentioned ham radio. A fellow radio op emailed me back as he only lives about an hour away and said he saw my posting. My question is, how many ham radio operators also collect tractors and would you please email me back so I can start a list? I am from Michigan but that doesn't matter. Maybe we can start a tractor collectors net? Remember,Dayton is only a few days away.

Probably shouldn't get into this discussion, as I'm not a ham nor am I a technical guy.

BUT, I can proudly say that I worked for Collins Radio Company for 34-1/2 years (even though the last 23 were when we were owned by Rockwell International.

One of my best friends designed the KWM2-A.

Stan, I work in Longview, TX for Alcatel who bought Rockwell in ?'92? We build microwave radios here (point-to-point surface transmission).

Any one working on the Ultra Wide Band radar/ communication equipment? The technology that is low powered, below the noise floor of regular radios. Allows vision through solid surfaces to scan through walls, the ground or bodies. Has been use by the Military/gov't for years for stealth communications/snooping. Now being released for medical scans, land mine locating & security body searching applications.

Own a '80 JD 950 and a '44 JD B.

Hi, Mark. I'm more of a tractor user than a tractor collector, but if it counts I've got a 1955 JD 50LP and an 8n Ford. The JD is my mower and the Ford is my weedeater!

I'm also a ham, WD5ABC, licensed in 1976 (I think), and am now an Extra. I'm in Caddo Mills, TX, about 35 miles east of Dallas on I-30. I haven't updated my web site in about 3 or 4 years, but I'll stick it at the bottom just for grins, if I can make it work.

73,
Kerry
