Well, folks, we have just seen another example of the responses to totally stupid postings (Bradshaw, as an example).

His posting may have merit - I don't know. But, the issue here is the number of responses he got, some of them very offensive, that only sunk to his level.

Come on, folks, don't respond to this sort of posting, and certainly don't lower yourself to the level of the guy that posts the original.

I have often frequented the Ford 8N/9N board and have never seen the sort of stupidity that I see here. Why do we sink to the level of those who only try to stir up trouble and cause us to feel like fools?

Best regards,

Jean (Wife of a serious John Deere collector)

We have the same kind of thing happen in ham radio. It is hard to hold your tongue. The way it works in ham radio is, when I hear things I don't like, I turn the radio off. Here, I read the posting, comment to myself about what an idiot this person is, and then hit the back button to go to the next posting.

I have to agree, I couldn't resist the urge to throw two cents worth in the last time he put that crap on the board and I was almost compelled to reply this time but I stopped and thought it over and came to the conclusion that was what this person was wanting us to do so I just sat back and watch everybody have their fun which is all it is. simply amusement. Not the end of the world. HJ

Well said. There are always those that don't have anything better to do than to cause trouble.

I think that the people who do their best to get a ruckus started on these boards work with the same mentality as those who write virus programs. They do it for the power surge it gives them. I don't know Bradshaw. I do know that he has a history of getting people stirred up. I will bet ya 2 cents that he stops coming here if he is completely ignored the next 2 times he tries it. Problem is that we will have newcomers on here that don't know his history and will respond. Maybe next time, someone can put a disclaimer on his post asking folks not to respond. I like all old tractors.
