JD60 rollomatic front end I am now confused I have people telling me that the front end is right then telling me the front end is wrong. I have alot of respect for the people on this board so I tend to believe you. But that means the price tag just went up alot. Can you check this part number for me B2719R, it is the hub casting. which tractor and front end does it go to.

Thanks Randy

Randy:

I hope I don't add to the confusion, but I don't want you to buy the wrong parts.

B 2719 R, Hub is shown for the Model "50" with Roll-A-Matic, whether it was on a straight or convertivle pedestal, and also used on Model "B" with Roll-A-Matic after S/N 60,000.

The Model "60" hub, A3479R, is shown for the "60" with Roll-A-Matic, and is also called out for the "70", Model "A" after S/N 477,000, and the Model "G" after 13,000.

It sure sounds like you have "50" hardware to me.

Randy,

I just had my parts catalogs out and Frank is right on the money with the part numbers. I can assure you that the pedestals are different between a 50 and a 60. The hubs and knuckles on a 60 are larger with a little more beef to them and will not fit in a 50 pedestal (been there and tried that). I too think that you have a pedestal from a 50.

Thanks Frank,

Somehow I figured these would be the ideas submitted. Oh well thats what makes this hobby challenging and fun. I'll get the muscle, heat and chisels out this morning and go for it.
