The 7700 used the 404 cu. in. diesel engine. They did not use a Gas engine in the 7700 The 105 used the 341 cu. in. Gas engine, the same engine as the 4020 Gas.

I beg to differ. 1969 production 105 combines used a 362 gasoline engine, same as the 4020 for 1969-up. These engines were also used in 7700 combines from 1970 through the end of 1973. For the 7700 application the 362 power unit was rated at 128 (flywheel) horsepower.

A gas engine was avaliable on the early "FLAT FACE" models , I think it was the 341 like the 4020's . I think the later ones with rotary screen were only diesel . They might have quit gas before that but the first couple years gas was available .

I didn't know that. Maybe they used the 360 cu in engine. Thats what the late 4020 Gas used.

Sorry guys , my mistake I forgot the late ones were 362 . Never saw too many 7700 gassers but I knew they were in there for a couple years .
