I have eight of these old tractors and keeping the charging systems working is more of a night mare than it is worth. I just charge the batteries when I have a show or pull and let her go.

It's no consolation, but it means that the charging systems probably isn't working. Drove a 730D in my younger years, and if the master switch was on ours always glowed. Just switched it on when we needed to check fuel level. (not that often compared to our neighbors with red tractors). Charging system didn't work for years, we just charged the batteries when it was home. Keeping the electrical system working correctly is quite a job!

Enjoy that 730, never should have sold Dads.
