That tube has an aluminum washer that seals the tube to the pump, see if it is missing . Don

Chris, where on the metal tube is it leaking? ~At the pump or farther up the line, or up under the hood & running down the line?
~You might have to clean the area & watch it closely to see the leak start.
~If you tell us exactly where the oil is coming from we can help you figure out how to repair it. ~Is it foaming at the line connection or out the top of the fill reservoir?

Chris, you should probably install a new aluminum seal washer on both ends of that pipe & make sure there isn't any dirt or crud between the pipe & washer or washer & pump seat. ~Be careful not to bend the pipe to remove it. ~Sometimes a slight leak can be stopped if the pipe nut is re-tightened after the pump is hot & used for a while but don't tighten it so tight you ruin the nut.
~I had one a couple of years ago that I needed to use two washers to stop a slight seep that let air into the pump when hot....

Chris, I just helped Henry rebuild mine and 2 other of those pumps and it seems critical that that metal tube connection and where it mates in the pump is clean, smooth and free of any debris, and is started free with its opposite end also free and both snugged down approximately simultaneously. Is the leak in the tube (doubt it) or is it coming up out around the perimeter (I bet) which indicates an innefective seal at the pump/tube seat. If its the seat and not a crack in the tube, I would remove it at both ends and clean and inspect it and the area it seats into, and reattach and snug both ends carefully and smoothly and let us know what happens. I assume its properly tightened down. Good Luck, Ol John T

The leak is right where the tube goes into the pump.

In that case, insure like the poster above said that flat aluminum crush seal washer is on the very end of the tube (the very last thing on it), its what seals, and clean and retighten. Ol John T
