Hey guys:

I was wondering what my options were with a John Deere 3010 Diesel. The hood is in pretty bad shape and a lot of the ones at salvage yards are also. They no longer make new ones. I don't know what all I can do here. Can you guys help? Also, I'm located in Ohio.

Thank you,

John

You might have some luck finding one at a salvage yard. It looks to me that you can still get one from Deere - part #AR41148 - it looks like it fits row crops, standards and row crop utility tractors. It is pricey though - $1327.11 list.

Man! That's WAY too much money. I contacted the local John Deere dealer yesterday and they said that new hoods were no longer available. Do you guys know of any good salvage yards in Ohio?

Thanks,

John

John:

What part of Ohio ? Anderson's in Bluffton used to be pretty good. I bought a 4440 from them years ago.

I kind of thought you'd feel that way about the price, lol. One of the 3010 hoods in EPC is no longer available - the other one still is. I can't help you on the salvage yard question, though.

Hey guys:

FIT: I've heard of Anderson's they're a few hours north of me. I'm in southeastern Ohio.

Thanks G-man for the help, FIT also. I've found a man that makes fiberglass replacements that are relatively cheap and sound like the best route to go.

Thanks for the help.

John

Brad: I'm from the town of Marietta, in the Southeast part of the state very close to West Virginia. Where are you? What all parts are you wanting to manufacture?
