Last week i asked about the 60 with slow/no lift
problem. I just installed a different pump and I think it's working good. My question is that
you said to adjust the metering screw (left side of power-trol) until it is lightly seated. with a gauge plugged in coupler, it will not produce very much pressure, so I screwed it out and get 1200 psi and level kicks back. Is this working properly or this there something else wrong? Has taken 3 pumps to find one good one. Thankyou very much for your help.

JDJACK, I don't know what is happening there.
~The metering screw is to adjust the slow rise speed of the rock shaft & is turned out to decrease the rise speed & in to increase the slow rise speed. ~The metering screw should be turned in for rock shaft operation.
~What port are you taking the reading at? ~Do you get the same reading on the other port?
~Do you get different readings with the lever at full travel & in the slow rise position?
~Does the lever kick back to neutral in both directions?
~Does the loader work ok with the metering screw turned in? Backed out?

I believe that it is at the upper port of the side
plug. I did't take a reading off the lower port, but it shouldn't have any pressure there? Should the level kick back when in the lower position?
loader is not on tractor now. Just have a ram and pressure gauge. Working on it at my house. loader at farm. Didn't try slow raise and fast raise positions. So the metering screw and throttle screw don't affect a ram operation?

JDJACK, there isn't actually a "lever kick back", all that happens is the lever holding mechanism is hydraulically released to allow the lever to return to neutral when the pressure in the lift circuit gets high enough. Seeing as you have to hold it in the slow rise position, even if the release mechanism activates you wouldn't know it.
~I don't know what is happening with your pressures & the metering screw, what adapter plugs do you have in the 2 outlet holes? When the correct outlet adapters are used you should have pressure in both directions (one hose up pressure & one hose down pressure).
