The 53 G charges great after your wireing diagram helped me put it together.My belt twisted though.I will get one today.What causes that?Thanks greatly and later.Jack(TN).

Jack, glad you are up & charging again.
~Your belt could be twisted due to the problems Chuck explained, or you could have a pulley mis-alignment between the generator & fan shaft pulley. Hold a straight edge along the sides of both pulleys & see if one pulley aligns with the other pulley...

have noticed several people posting and you are absolutely correct about Clooney. He is on of the most knowledgable persons I've seen. You belt probably twisted due to a stretched spot and you may have tightened too much. Use a new belt and don't tighten a lot till it is broke in. I always like the solid belts.
