I have a '48 B w/ the aluminum medallion(cap)and as far as i know it came with the tractor new, it is S.N. 224388. I have yet to see any others A's or B's.

There is a A in the junk yard out here that has one on it. Don't know the year. I thought it was strange. Never seen one before. Didn't grab it either.

I will have to find out how much he wants for it. Just pay for it and shipping. Email me with your address and I will have to see when I can get back out there. It is about 40 miles away.
