$8600.00 for a '630'! it must have been a very early ser. # or some relative wanted it. look at the 4-sale ads, there's a real nice 730 diesel completly restored for the same price! wish it would have been my tractor; I'd love to get a price like that for my JD. I would be send'in that person Xmas cards for the rest of their lives!

The 630 price boggled my mind too! The 730 picture you have looks far better, The 630 had a narrow front and no fenders. I can't figure it out. I only hope this person has money left to buy my stuff! P.S. I didn't relook at my note on the 4020 it was a diesel and it brought $15,250 not $15,000 then they sold you the duals on it and they brought I think another $400.00 I wish I had been smart enough to buy up the 30series 2 cyl. a few years back. They always seem to out sell the others.

Idiots at auctions, who can figure. But I guess if these tractors were all one owners, and you knew the man took good care of them, it might make them worth alittle more. Those are still crazy prices.

Mike our tractor club had a auction in March. The tractor's sold well but there was a good 45 Deere combine that had been in atool shed for 20 yr. It sold for $10 some guy needed the tires. This auction was at I&I Club Penfield,Illinois East central Ill. Wrong day and one bidder. Earl

The seller should be happy, thats more than double what a 630 is worth.

I'm not familiar with 630 prices, but you are sure right that the seller should be tickled pink - the 4020 brought more than the last dozen 4840's I've seen sell down our way!!
