I have located a '61 2010 gas for $2,700. It is worn out but sheet metal is good and everything works from what I could tell. Is the 2010 a good tractor? Is that a decent price? How hard is it to install hydraulic outlets? Also, I need to know how the three-point hitch levers worked. He said the three levers on the console were disconnected and a lever under the seat operates the hitch. Thanks in advance for the advice.

The 2010 was a good tractor when every thing worked,However----- they were a real bi--- to work on , they always leaked , the hyd. system was junk, the motor was a pretty good engine for the most part. Now you cant get parts for them . My advice is to run like H---- the other way, buy a 2020 and you will be much happier. Don

Gpower is right. 2010 is the worst tractor JD ever made.

Leave it where it sits. All you will do is work on it. Save your money and buy a little more tractor and save yourself from pulling out your hair.
