Are the 730's with the gas engine rare, or collectable? I have heard that they are more collectable then diesels? Is that true? What do you guys think?

A 720 or 730 gasoline in the standard chassis is uncommon & just about rare. As for fuel consumption the 520/530 & 720/730 gas were close to the 620/630 which set a gasoline efficiency record at Nebrassca. They may have used more fuel than a 720 diesel but for start/stop duty & just puttering around jobs they are superior. The 20/30 series gasoline engines are still cheaper to run per hour than many brand X diesels built.

Someone posted the numbers a few days ago but I can't find them now. There were a lot more diesels built than gas. I want to say there were around 2700 gas but I could be wrong. That would not make them rare but a good tractor to have never the less.

never head that but have heard that you need shares in oil company to keep the gas flowing.
