I am needing to know if I can cut into the main feed line from the pump to feed my (open center) spool valve, then feed back into the line from the out port of the spool? This is to run a loader. So, I would be coming from the pump, cut the line, run it to the spool, out from the spool to the rock valve.

You should be able to get a valve from John Deere
or if there price is way out of wack you should be able to hook one up like the factory set up . This tractor should have a place to tap into try
to get your local JD dealer to let you look at the service manual and parts books maybe they will give a clue. I hooked one up on my 750 before I bought the factory unit.I think that however you hook it up you may need to look into a valve with a port called a power beyond they are made to do what you described.

I know what you mean. Some are not to helpful. Try a diferent dealer and try to look in the parts book for where the factory hooks up their lines. I have info on the 750 but i'm sure the 950 would have to be diferent. The 750 you remove plugs at the front of rockshaft housing and insert a allen head plug-special-in one port to block off than run hoses to valve and back to other port.Hopefully someone with a 950 will answer your request.
