I'm going to look at a 1937 unstyled B and a 1943 L with cultivators and plow. I know nothing about the value of these tractors, i farm with two cylinders of much larger size and this is a new experience for me, they kind of sound interesting to me and fun. Need advice on what to be looking for and prices of these tractors. They are in very good shape according to owner and are in use and been restored a short time ago. Thanks Ted

There were no 43 L's made. War killed the production. There were only 49 LI's made in 43. So the L is not a 43.

According to John Deere's Book "John Deere Tractors 1918-1987" They made 300 L tractors in 1943.
