I got out the preasure line in one piece today. The line is about 3/4" so I took a 3/4" nut and drilled the threads out to 23/32" so it would be snug on the oil line next I sawed the nut in half and brazed the two half moon pieces to the line about 2" from the rockshaft housing. I screwed the clamp retaining bolts all the way into the rear housing and put the horse shoe line clamp over the line and backed the capscrews out against the clamp that in turn pushed on the nut brazed to the hydraulic line. I screwed the bolts out evenly when things got tight I rapted the line with a hammer, after repeating this a couple of times the line came right out. I hope this will help someone else save those lines they are unavailable from Deere. I havn't done it yet but it should be easy to melt the brass and remove the nut.

sounds great with your ideal. I had the same problem and took a pair of vise grips, used the pipe type, ground the teeth so they wouldn't cut into the pipe and clamped close to the housing. Then took a tire tool and could put rearward pressure. Hold the pressure I tapped on the line. Another ideal, more work is to remove the floor pan, then you can wiggle the lines and also tap on the lines. I didn't know these lines weren't available. It appears they could be made except for the ends. I believe they use some type special steel weld

ET:

Holy Cow ! What a testament to ingenuity !

Could you see what if anything was holding them in there so tight ? Just crud, or years of pressure.

Good job !

It was all rust and crud. I've had an eye on this tractor for 25 years as it sat out and unused. The tach. had 3500 hrs. on it things aren't worn out just rusty.
