I just bought a 1949 model m tractor, the problem is sometimes the clucth is sticking. If you get it to work and keep working it every little bit, it works fine. If you don't I have a hard time getting it to disengage, some times it will work if you slam on the brakes at the same time you push in the clucth. Just want to see if any one has any info. before I brake the tractor apart. Thanks David

Don't split the tractor yet. There is a 1" shaft that goes through the tractor that the brakes work on. The clutch also works on the shaft. Pull that shaft, clean off the rust, lube, and put back together. Thats more than likely your problem.
