I sure hate doing this cause I know you can't see the tractor, but it's a 3020 diesel wide front with the engine disasembled and a cracked crank. It had gaulded a piston and the parts was bought for that and block was machined, but a small crack was found in the crank. The tractor is exellent, but needs rear tires. JD wants $1500 for the crank. So what would the tractor be worth?? It's around a 1964 model and thats much newer then I am used to..

I just bought a 3010 gas for $2500.00 and it is in excellent shape. The average price for a decent gas is $3500.00-$4500.00. Diesels usually go for at least $1000.00 more for one in the same conmd. Don't know if this will help but it may give you an idea. Tom

Make sure wide front end is JD and not aftermarket. JD front end will be heavier, with cast iron, center support. I have seen 3010 and early 3020's sell for as little as 3800 in sound running condition. Good luck,
Greg.

I live in Canada and have found a resource in using the western producer news paper it is on line. wwwproducer.com look in the main classified page this paper is full of equipment, antique equpment, new equipment and everything in between hopefully it will be helpful.
