I have an "A" that I need to move about 7 miles. The engine block has been removed and the rear wheels are frozen in a wide stance (too wide for my trailer and the local wrecker guy's roll back). I don't want to deal with the frozen wheels now. My question is this. As long as the differential is properly filled with oil, will it lubricate properly and not do any damage to the moving parts if it is towed? Thanks for any ideas. Bob

The Bull Gears attached to each axle will properly distribute the Gear Lube throughout the differential while moving. There should be no problem as long as you tow at a reasonably slow speed.

We used to tow our 2 cylinders behind another tractor between farms, to/from the dealer, with no problems. We had a tow bar that bolted on the front pedastal.

As long as you go slow, should be OK. A lot of guys around here tow their cultivating tractors (red mostly) using the dollies from their Hi-boys. You may want to hang an SMV on back, too.
