How much do you think I can sell a 1950 John Deere B for? It has no special features such as fenders, rolomatic etc. It has been fully restored, the engine was recently rebuilt and rebore to .90 over, new tires on the rear, new paint, new belts, new gaskets, new voltage reg., new wiring that was done to look exactly as it was originally done, runs well, dist. rebuilt, starter and gen rebuilt. Any suggestions? I hate to sell it but it seems that I need the money right now :( I'm young yet though There will still be many tractors in my future...

Karl, kinda know how you feel but an older friend of mine kinda lined me out. He said to enjoy the old tractors and move on. I kinda didn't understand his thoughts till I sold and traded around some tractors and really like the arrangement...enjoy the tractor for a couple of years or so, then move to another model. I've gone up the line from the unstyled B to the 530., had the 420/430 line. I know if you have to sell for financial reasons it can hurt, but there are a lot of tractors out there in the future..Good luck, keep up a good spirit.

Karl. I know from other post here on the board that you have put alot of skin blood knuckles and labor into the tractor to get it to where you have it today. I did the same thing a few years ago, I then sold the tractor for the need of money. Karl. I dont know how to tell you that I wish I would of kept the old gal and found some other way of coming up with the money. Once it gone its gone. my two cents worth Good luck. Ben
