Could u please quote me insurance for a 1952 fordson major, for towing my speedboat from home to the beach and back, the tractor is in Abersoch, N.Wales. Not sure what else u need 2 know.

I've got homeowners and several vehicles and trailers with Allstate. They were able to add my tractor to the existing coverage as a "special vehicle". Coverage for collision, 20/40/20 liability, and comprehensive runs about $100/yr for $10,000 value.

Comprehensive covers theft, hail storms, and the like. Collision will take care of fixing the tractor if it gets wrecked while hauling (it gets hauled quite a bit). Liability wasn't really necessary but I couldn't get collision without the liability coverage.

I live in town but found a policy that covers my shed and also a policy that covers my antique tractors wherever they are, in shed, at a show, in transit, etc. I got it through FarMutual Insurance. Very reasonable I think. I provided a list of tractors and equipment along with serial numbers and estimated value. I live in the midwest but I think FarMutual is all over.

by itself would be difficult to find. If you own a farm you should be able to add as specified equipment, if you are a homeowner and your company will accomodate you may add an agricultural equipment floater. This shouldn't be too expensive.
