I am currently a junior at Gig Harbor High School in Washington and I need alot of info on Mr. John Deere. The assignment: Choose an america who is currently not living and who has made a great impact on american society. I looked no further than the name on my hat. So help me please I need some Info regarding his life and the storys behind your tractors, anything will help. THANK YOU!

I had to do a report on John Deere in 8th grade. Interesting company, Of course I had to get some tractors after that. I still some times read some of the John Deere books I have. Hope you get a good grade.

I'm not sure if a library will have it,but if you can find the book John Deere's Company,you will enjoy reading it.

That's a very good book , covers John Deere's life as well as the company history . I have it , I think I bought it from the local dealership sometime around the 150th aniversary of Deere .
