Does anyone know of any after market parts for a John Deere 314, Kohler k 321, 14 h.p. Deere prices are very high and I'm trying to keep this rebuild reasonable. Is there a piston that will interchange? Like maybe a motorcycle piston that would work? Or reasonably priced after market piston, rings, wrist pin, rod, valves, springs. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Todd,
I rebored a 312 about 5 years ago. I used all NAPA and it worked well. They have many after market gas engine parts.

I am a golf course superintendent. We rebuild Kohler 321s about three times a year. get my parts from Precision @www.precisionusa.com, or 1800-345-1960.(I dont do the same one we have about 10 different engines ). Hope this helps

Many people on the IH Cub Cadet Forum say that STENS is a good brand of replacement parts for Kohler's... I've never used them muself. Maybe try NAPA or ??? A Deere Dealer would be the most expensive place to go.
