Well,

Last Friday afternoon I stopped by my friendly John Deere dealer to pick up some parts for my 70D. Saw a new shipment of 3 pt scraper boxes, and decided to take one home for my 855. After all the fuss of getting it loaded and paying my bill, I headed for home.

My wife met me at the door and said the lady at the dealer office while I was driving home to say that I had let my checkbook at the store, and that she would hold it for me until I could stop by and retrieve it.

My wife told her "Well, there isn't much point in his coming up to get it, because you'll most likely end up with all his money in the end !"

Ain't she cute !

Been married going on two years now, We had the whole discussion about my "tractor habits" at thanksgiving, so my fatherin law comes up with the bright Idea that for every tractor I get, she gets a baby. Guess I'll have a big family, good thing I got them to leave out the 6 I already had.

And now, the rest of the story .

Bought the '70 for about 2 bills. Spend 2 1/2
years and about 4 more bills on parts.
Got a heck of a nice tractor !

Fiance said if you can spend that much on a tractor, we can put a family/dining room/bedroom
addition on the house with the second bath.
(making enough room for her and her 150
year old antiques). Spent about 65 bills so far.
We should be done in another 6 to 8 bills.
[bills = $1,000]

I used to have a nice check book balance.
Some people learn slow, and I guess that's the
catagory I fall into.

Guess that's why I'm poorerbut still in love.

Ain't love grand ???!!!! pb

That's not the way my wife looks at it Frank, she knows that when I have a blank check in my wallet, I'm a potential millionaire.HJ
