My 730D remote hydraulic cylinder will not lift my 10ft Brillion pulvi mulcher. It worked fine last season. I changed cylinders and it made no difference. The tractor is equipped with dual remotes, I tried both sides without success and the 3pt seems to have plenty of lifting power. I think there must be a relief valve not functioning properly. Any ideas?? I hope this is an easy fit as I am recovering from surgery and not suppose to do much. Thanks in advance.

One thing that is simple most people do not check is the 'quik couplers'... They have a tendancy to stick if they have not been used in a while. Also it is cheaper than checking out the hydraulics at a JOHN DEERE Dealer. Also check your oil. If it has not been changed go ahead and change it.

So you'll know looking at the rear of the tractor the adjustment for the hydraulic pressure is on the right next to where axle housing bolts to rear end case. Read the book before just going in there and tightening down on that screw....Just a word of advice.

Thanks for the advice Tony630. The hydraulic oil was changed before starting this work season and I checked out the couplers as I also thought they may be the problem. I do have the manual for the tractor I got from John Deere, but it has very little in regarding the hydraulic system. There must be a separate manual detailing the hydraulics. But again, thanks for your advice and I will post back and let you know what I find and if I find it.
