Attended the show in Moline last week and thought it was great. Great place to shop and talk to all the Vendors and magazine publishers. The Gold leaf D was a good attraction and how about the 9 tractor hitch out side on the sleigh.

The collector center is done and was a great place to visit also

Any other opinions out there on the show.

I am glad you liked the Gold D. Dad seemed to enjoy being there also. Maybe next time I can go.

I agree with Dan and all. The show was great and nothing left unattended. Ken and the clubs did a very good job. Now, As for the collectors center, it was good except the price they were asking in the store. I almost had heart failure when I saw a shirt that was 10 buck quality go for 40 bucks. As long as we (they) continue paying these VERY inflated prices, they will continue to charge them..!! "Just my opinion, I could be wrong".(borrowed quote)

Don, you are correct with your assessment of the conference. The workshops and open discussion sessions were VERY good, and extremely informative. The vendors, exhibits, and the Collector's center were merely frosting on the cake. It was enjoyable to meet and speak with a number of people who previously, to me, were only names on the internet. The events I attended went very smoothly, and as scheduled. The planning and logistical efforts to make this thing come off as well as it did must have been incredible, including the free bus transportation between locations. The sponsoring clubs, and especially Ken Reese and the other event administrators, are to be congratulated. I understand over 1200 people were registered for, and attended, the conference.
