Help!!! I have a '59 630lp that the shifter is stuck in 2nd gear. The tractor will not move with the clutch engaged. It was jumping out of 2nd gear and a friend decided he would hold it in 2nd and put his foot against the shifter to do so. And the result is now it needs fixed. He was pulling a 7 ft disc at the time and had it loaded up. Just a quick look at the top of the shifter plate it looks like to remove it the lp tank will have to lift up or be removed.?. Any and all help greatly appreciated. Thanks, Rich

Rich,I just took one apart by removing bolts on top of shifting quadrant and with small bottle lifted tank enough to take shifter plate off.

Rich,if your lucky gear just pushed by shifting fork or wore through. So you will probably need to replace it and line all of them vertically when you put cover back on in neutral.
