does any one have a pic of how to repair a carb that is on a 60 john deere?
I think it needs cleaned and repaired sounds like tractor is not getting or getting too much gas .
it runs a little bit with the choke on
can any one help me?

Kenny, the Marvel-Schebler Duplex Carbs are a bit tricky to clean & get to all the little internal passages. ~I don't have any good pictures of the internals on the duplex but if you give a little more information on how the carb is acting, what engine speed it is happening at & how far the throttle is open when it happens I will try to talk you through getting the offending passages cleaned out.

KENNY SOUNDS LIKE MAY BE PLUGGED. TURN OFF FUEL AT TANK AND PULL FUEL LINE LOOSE FROM CARB OPEN FUEL VALVE AND SEE IF YOU HAVE GOOD SUPPLY OF FUEL .IFYOU DO WHEN TRACTOR IS RUNNING TRN POWER JETS SEE IF MAKES DIFFERANCE IF NOT SOUNDS LIKE CARB REMOVE AND CLEAN. DID YOU REPLACE PLUGS.CALL ME iWILL HELP IF CAN 1-309-734-7008 NITES
