The clutch on this 401 TLB seems like it takes a long time to engage. It also has a direction reverser. Any ideas on how to correct this? It doesn't slip under load so it isn't a bad disk.

If its taking awhile to shift from forward to reverse with the reverser, there is an orifice adjusting screw on the right side of the clutch control valve which is on the right side of the reverser....it is a slotted screw about 3/16 in diameter...turn it out to speed up...in to slow down...if it doesnt slip it shouldnt be a pressure problem
