On the clutch being stuck, What I would do is take the pulley cover off and spray it down with some WD40 or your favorite rust remover. If you can engage and disengage the clutch, then you have to have a pad sticking in it I would think. Look at it to see what you have as someone moves the clutch. Take the adjusting nuts off and keep removing clutch pieces until you find what keeps the pulley from moving. If you don't see something once you take the drive pulley out, check the fork that comes out of the front of the first reduction gear to make sure it hasn't broken. It is a brass piece that could break. Is held in by 4 bolts.

Alan,
The reason no one comments on your good fortune is that we are all jealous.

Do you live where it freezes? If so it may be there is ice in the transmission and clutch drive. Best to let it thaw and drain everything befor you take it all apart. I had one one time that had a lump of ice in the clutch gear oil pan drain area. I am not sure what it's called. Anyway, it kept the clutch from disengaging and also kept the engine from turning over. When it warmed up, it all worked.
