Can I remove and replace the manifold and gaskets on my 520 without removing the powersteering pump shaft and the upper water tube? Thanks in advance, Al

yes you can,I like to spray the studs with pb blaster for at least a week or so before I attempt to breakem free.I think I have saved myself a lot of agravation by being patient and doing this.By the way I just did a 520 and had no problems, put a little antiseize on the new studs you never know when they might have to be removed again. hope this helps

Yes you can but the bigger problem arises if you have any studs twist off then the fun starts I done one a month ago and 3 studs broke off wound up taking the head off to get them removed but no big deal

On a 520 you can remove the manifold without removing the fan shaft or upper water tube, because they use cap screws to hold the manifold,so you can slide the manifold out.
On tractors like the A or B they use studs with a nut on top to hold the manifold,so you can't slide the manifold out.
