Who makes the after market 3-point system for the JD MT? Is it JD equipment? Could not make it today to the tractor due to snow heading out in the morning. I saw one on Ebay today, it is at 2,600.00 and hasn't hit the reserve yet. I guess 1,000.00 isn't so bad of a price. Did the 51 have a Hydraulic System on it? I am takeing my digital camera with me tomorrow. Mark H.

Mark
Try these people for a aftermarket 3-point.
www.saginaw countytractor.com
They make 3-points for all brands and there price is alot better than the price you have stated.
I dont know what the cost is for an "M" but for an "A" "B" 50-60and 70's there unit sell's for $425.00

I thought the M was wide front and MT was Tricycle.

Saginaw Tractor lists a 3 point conversion for the M, should have had a hydraulic pump on the front of the engine, right side like the 40 and 420., live in other words. suspect you could order it withoug hydraulics but dobt many farmers did.

The Item # is 1698692023 I thought the MT was the Narrow Front End? Did JD make a option for the wide front end on the MT? Mark

Yes, a wide front was available for the MT. The (T) designated two row. Guess these are somewhat rare.
