AR air stack

I am just about to start the restoration of a '51 JD-AR. I have found most of the parts that I know I will need, but cannot find a replacement for the bent up air stack.

Has anyone tried to straighten one? This one probably stopped a tree, but is not bent up too bad, maybe a 15 degree smooth bend. I am thinking of removing it and driving a pipe up the inside as close to tight fit as I can find, until it reaches the baffle. Might work, no?

Any other ideas, or any tips on availability of a replacement?

Mike,
I think I have an unstyled AR stack for sale. E-mail me if you still need one?

Thanks Shorty.

This AR is styled. I have seen unstyled AR stacks for sale, but was told they were the wrong size for styled ARs. Will they fit? Just the wrong height maybe? Might be interested if that is the case.

Sorry all. Didn't intend this to be a classified ad. (but good to get a lead from Shorty)
