Do you just want to remove the pistons from your A , like to re-ring it? If so the answer is yes. You can pull off the valve train and carb and water pipe and generator and toolbox. Pull the head off, unhook the rods, wrap the ends with a cloth, as not to damage the cyl's. You may have to clean up the top of the cyl. bore where the piston doesn't travel and clean off the carbon. the piston and rod should slide out. Now if you have a power block, It all comes out wholesale. As they are not able to be removed like a standard block.

Yes. You have to remove almost everything off of the front of the frame except the radiator, but the block can be pulled forward, rotated and removed. Be careful. It can fall out the bottom of the frame.
