Got an 50 mt with the complete cultivators set up and was wondering what color are they supposed to be. They came painted green but i've seen others on Bs and As painted red. I've got a biger (420) tractor to use around the place for real work and would like to color them up right and "retire" her right.

Andrew, we had a Mt with front mount cultivators, when I was a kid. (in the 40's and 50's) They were all green on it.

Mid 39 is when, from what I can tell, is when the majority of the red disappeared. Saw a early 39 B that was mostly red. His father bought it new and has pictures to prove it. I have a 43B, that came from a farm that the farmer bought for his wife new in 43. The cultivators are mostly green, but the shanks that hold the sweeps, are red. Hope I am using the right terms. Hope you understand. I am pretty sure the cultivators on you 50 MT are mostly green.
