The 620 set a gasoline economy standard that is seldom even approached today. HP/hour developed per gallon of gasoline makes the 620/630 cheaper to operate than many diesels. A 620 at full power will burn more fuel per hour than a 520, as it's making more HP. This site & Rummeys have the tractor specs listed if you care to click on the text/icon.

Cosmetics are the biggest differences in the 20-30 series. No other big changes were made. As far as the horsepower goes, I have dynoed both a 520 and a 620. GOOD runners will surpass the ratings (37 for my 520 and 46 on my 620). Both engines have recently been gone through and have less that 400 hours on rebuild. 520-530's - not too bad on fuel, and powerful for their size. 620-630's, lots of power, too, but a MUCH thirstier appetite to go with it!

the 520 & 530 are about the same, as are the 620 & 630..... the sheet metal looks a little different... The 520 & 530 are rated at 34 HP and I think that is an over-estimate.. The 620 & 630 are rated at about 44 HP...a Huge jump from the old All-Fuel "A"..... These are for "Gasoline" engines... All-Fuel engines had about 7 or 8 HP less... Some say the power steering in the "30" series was improved over the "20" series.. The "30" series had Quieter mufflers, and larger tires...both can be used on the "20" , and 50, and 60 series...
