I ordered a 620 manual and no where in it is reference to adjusting power steering pressure. I think the adjusting screw with locknut on the slave unit is a pressure adjustment. I am replacing my power steering pump seals. They blew out within 10 minutes of my tightning the adjustment screw locknut on the slave unit. It was leaking a little. I held the screw with screw driver while tighning the locknut. Where can I find manual reference of power steering data.

Popper Dick:

The manual you want, just for power steering, is SM-2050. Last I heard it's 14.95 + shipping from the JD.

an IT manual has the information about power steering, also JD manuals have information. I've been through many of these and I find the main problem is not the pump or adjustment pressure but rather the motor or vane wipers. You have to dissamble the pedistal to replace. What happens is generally one of the pins holding the wiper piston will be broken and also pressure will be leading past the rectangle seals. Get a parts manual and you can see how the assy is constructed. Good luck.
