I have a part for a 1949 John Deere A that I took off the back of the tractor but I sold the tractor and I still have the part. I think it came off the powertroll or powerlift. It is cast iron and about 1 1/2 inches wide and about 10 1/2 inches long. The part number is: A 3637 R. I know that is the right numbers but I that is what the two letters are. If anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks, - Ross

My Friend, what you have is a Power-Trol Remote Cylinder Transport Arm. This is used to hang the remote cylinder on the R.H. roll shaft housing of the tractor when you are not using it on some implement. If you lived close to me I would come to your place and try to buy this part from you. Whatever, don't throw it away or give it to someone. Have them "Show you the money".

Ross, my John Deere Parts book calls part number A 3637 R an - Arm, Cylinder Transport. On my B John Deere it is mounted with a u bolt to the top of the lift housing, right hand side.
